Our focus is to assist your child with his/her classroom curriculum. We have found that by simply offering your child an extension of his/her classroom experience, your child will achieve better results. If fact, after we perform an assessment of your child's strengths, we tailor the tutoring to follow the current classroom assignments while shoring up any weaknesses that might be holding your child back.
We also offer Enrichment Programs for those children who excel in math. It sometimes can be discouraging for a child who becomes bored and is not being challenged.
During the summer months, we shift our focus from following and supporting a child's classroom curriculum to review and enrichment. A child may fall behind in math for various reasons. Our summer program is designed to solidify a student's math foundation by reviewing previously taught concepts with which the student is still struggling. At the end of this review process, our goal is to help the student meet the California standards for his/her particular grade level and subject matter. Conversely, a child may want to get a jump start on the next year's math class. With our vast library of California Board of Education approved material, we can challenge any student at any level.
